Pastor José Tirado
Pastor José E. Tirado Jr. has been faithfully serving as the Senior Pastor of New Creation United Methodist Church since July 1, 2020. As the church’s spiritual leader, he oversees worship, preaching, discipleship, pastoral care, and the overall mission of helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor José has a strong background in ministry and leadership within the United Methodist Church, shaped through years of service, mentoring, and theological training. His heart for New Creation is clear and consistent: “To make disciples of Jesus Christ” and to cultivate a church that worships boldly, serves faithfully, and loves the community deeply.
Outside of ministry, Pastor José is a devoted family man, married to Mandy Tirado, and together they have five wonderful children: Hunter, Alexa, Cyenna, José Miguel, and Jayla. He is a huge sports enthusiast—especially football (Go Birds!), basketball, baseball, and he’s an avid fan of high school and collegiate wrestling. One thing people quickly notice about him is his genuine passion for serving the community and building relationships with people from all walks of life.
A guiding scripture for his life and ministry is Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

El Pastor José tiene una sólida trayectoria en el ministerio y liderazgo dentro de la Iglesia Metodista Unida, formada por años de servicio, mentoría y preparación teológica. Su visión para New Creation es clara: “Hacer discípulos de Jesucristo” y formar una iglesia que adore con pasión, sirva con fidelidad y ame profundamente a la comunidad.
Fuera del ministerio, el Pastor José es un hombre dedicado a su familia. Está casado con Mandy Tirado, y juntos tienen cinco hijos: Hunter, Alexa, Cyenna, José Miguel y Jayla. Es un gran aficionado a los deportes—especialmente al fútbol americano (¡Go Birds!), baloncesto, béisbol, y es un fanático del wrestling a nivel escolar y universitario. Algo que lo caracteriza es su pasión genuina por servir a la comunidad y acercarse a personas de todos los ámbitos de la vida.
